Some panels (Zinsco, Federal Pacific) often cause problems like burnt breakers, overloaded circuits, and possible power failure due to bad design. Others like Square D and Murry can last long time. But any of the problems listed below can be a reason to replace your service panel.

A: We suggest you get a permit for all projects. Permits protect you, your home, and your investment. They are designed to ensure that licensed contractors do their work when required. Inspections ensure that work is done safely and that it meets the minimum code requirements. Minor problems that could lead to costly repairs, liability and life/safety issues can be detected during permit inspections and brought to your attention before the situation worsens.
